A day of thanksgiving

Celebrate the National Day of Thanksgiving!

“The National Day of Thanksgiving is a unique opportunity for Australians to celebrate and give thanks for our God-given heritage as a nation and to demonstrate the God-given values of honour, respect, thankfulness and gratitude towards our fellow man that have made us the great nation we are.”

As we celebrate the National Day of Thanksgiving this weekend you are invited to join us for a service of thanksgiving this Sunday May 31st at 10am.

In his final advice to the Thessalonians, Paul writes,

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thess 5:18)

You are invited to share a word of personal or corporate thanks to God, each other or our community during the service.

This weekend let’s focus on  gratitude. Why not update you facebook status this weekend with three things that you are thankful for and encourage others to take on the challenge.

All ages family service

What is our all ages family service?

This is a service that seeks to be accessible to people of all ages and from varying backgrounds. It is an interactive service that seeks to provide opportunity for engagement with God and his word.

This Sunday at 10am we are wrapping up our series on Romans and celebrating Pentecost, the birthday of the church.

As we have journeyed through Romans this year, we have seen that this letter is far more than simply a theological treatise. It is an intensely practical exposition and application of the gospel purposes of God and a strong call to unity in Christ Jesus.

We hope you can join us!
